I don’t feel like Christmas
Many moons have passed, I cannot recall the last time the tree got assembled. I only did it for granny to enjoy, for her to sit at the table and see the tree lights be deployed. Now she’s gone and my family throned, it’ll take time for us to new memories form. I don’t feel like Christmas but I don’t want this feeling to stay, deep inside me there’s the wish to get excited again one day. I don’t want to rush, not a single day to push. Time will work its magic and this longing will be hushed.
