Grandmas in danger of extinction

The air gets thicker with every tick of the clock, some cry rivers, some their tears block. Phone calls, some news, we can only wait on a Tuesday so blue. A soul so proactive, whose body lies in bed, one could only guess what thoughts are in her head. This is the eternal sunset of one big caring heart, between medicines and doctors, death’s playing with the darts. She’s one of the grandmas in danger of extinction, of the ones who dedicate their lives out of pure conviction. She took the role of a mother, twice in her lifetime, teaching everyone the power of love, always in primetime. Everyone gathers around her with love, waiting for a sign to come from above. Her temperature changes while her blood pressure decreases, kisses on her forehead and beautiful speeches. … I held her hand as her soul was leaving, some were afraid, but she was firmly believing. She’s changed her residence to live forever in our hearts. Physically separated, but we’ll never be apart. Love is forever, transcends space and time, her love was the purest, it was sublime. We loved you, we love you, we’ll love you. I loved you, I love you, and I’ll forever love you.
